Jr. Linux Scripter (TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Required)

Currently, we are seeking a Junior Linux Scripter to join our Team!

Description:

• Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures.]
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux administration experience, knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, works well in a small team setting, has a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions.

Requirements:

• No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• CompTIA Security+
• Experience performing Linux server administration tasks including configuring, patching, monitoring, trouble shooting, etc.
• Experienced with one or more of the following scripting languages:
• Python
• Perl
• Bash
• PowerShell
• Experience with automating repetitive tasks with Bash and Python scripts
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies
• Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners
• TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Puppet and Ansible
• Experience with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling
• Experience with AWS-CLI and Boto3
