Today, We Are Looking For

The Greater Houston Partnership seeks a leader to sustain a public policy committee structure that consistently exceeds members' expectations. One of the primary value propositions of the Partnership is the opportunity for our members to be directly involved in the formulation and implementation of public policy addressing the most pressing issues facing our region. This work occurs through seven public policy advisory committees. These committees are led by Partnership Board Members and populated by members who are subject matter experts, government relations professionals, and civic leaders. When operating at their best, these committees produce an annual work product, build awareness about important issues, and contribute to advocacy objectives. Each committee is supported by the Partnership's staff-level subject matter experts and advocacy team.

The Director, Public Policy Committee Engagement will work with Partnership members, policymakers, elected officials, key external stakeholders, and internal colleagues to identify, understand, and advance the policy issues most important to its members. The Director will formulate and carry out these strategies in alignment and consultation with the Partnership's Board of Directors, committee members, and committee managers.
