A sophisticated, results-driven law firm is seeking to add an Employment Attorney to their team. This firm has several offices in California with a flexible work schedule. The attorneys typically go into the office a couple of days a week for collaboration. This is an employment defense position, but plaintiff candidates interested in switching sides will be considered. This is a mid-sized law firm with 100+ attorneys. Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in labor and employment experience
- Advising employers in hiring, employment contracts, compensation and discipline, termination matters
- Experience with union/management transactions, organizing campaigns grievance, arbitration and dispute resolution
- Have an enthusiastic positive approach and be a team player
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic
- 1850 billable hour requirement
- CA License, in good standing
- Wage and Hour, PAGA experience preferred
- Experience forming, maintenance and termination of employment in collective bargaining agreements preferred
- Medical, dental and vision
