JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical center in Georgia seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Palliative Medicine physician to expand our current service line, by offering inpatient and limited outpatient services. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Experience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care hospital setting with program management experience preferred Team comprised of one physician, a dedicated LPN, and licensed social workerHelp us develop an outpatient program that will enhance and grow our services Function as a program builder of an outpatient palliative care clinic to ultimately include Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner programMonday - Friday schedule HOSPITAL:This is a nonprofit regional health system serving west Georgia and east Alabama, served by a medical staff comprised of more than 300 physicians representing 30+ unique medical specialties.
