Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

This west Georgia Health System is recruiting an experienced Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Palliative Medicine physician to expand our current palliative care service line, by offering inpatient services in west Georgia.
Salary: $250K guarantee with additional medical director earnings available plus $50K sign on/$50 start date incentives, relocation, and full benefits package.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Join an established collaborative and collegial inpatient palliative care team comprised of one physician, a dedicated full-time LPN, and a full-time licensed social worker.
* Experience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care hospital setting with program management experience preferred.
Education
* Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care through American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine
* Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or General Surgery
* Completion of an accredited Palliative Medicine Fellowship
* Current GA Medical License or must meet eligibility requirements
Schedule:
* Monday Friday (5 days/40 hours per week)
* Inpatient at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton

The Health System service area provides care to a population just under 400,000 in our primary and secondary markets.
