JOB DUTIES * Performs many basic care tasks for patients, like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating, and exercising * Assists the nursing staff with medical tasks such as monitoring vitals with medical equipment and reporting patient behavior and wellbeing * Proven experience as a certified nursing assistant * Excellent knowledge of nursing assistant care methods and procedures * Excellent knowledge of obtaining vital signs * In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to always follow them * Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Responsible and compassionate * Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills * Patient with excellent problem-solving skills QUALIFICATIONS * Certificate from a nursing assistant program * Current valid CNA certification in MN * Possesses an active CPR/BLS certification with skills demonstration REQUIRED CREDENTIALS: * Current MN CNA certificate/license * COVID Vaccination * Criminal Background Check * CPR/BLS * 10-Panel Drug Screen * Hepatitis-B Vaccination or Declination * Flu Vaccination or Declination * Annual HIPAA Training * Elder Abuse Training * Physical Exam * 2 STEP TB Skin Test * 2 Verified References * Resume * State specific Requirements Physical setting: * LTC * SKILLED NURSING
