Facility in Barre, VT seeking Internal Medicine Locums coverage Rates: $170/hr Coverage Dates: As soon as credentialed Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (preferred), or Monday-Thursday/Tuesday-Friday Job Description: Facility in Barre, VT is seeking 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and 1 MD with a background in Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine. While geriatric experience is preferred, it is not required. The position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a nursing home setting. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct admissions and discharges * Perform acute evaluations and 30-day evaluations * Manage a patient load of 8-12 patients per day * Collaborate with other APPs and MDs in the facility Schedule: * Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (preferred) * Alternative schedules: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Requirements: * Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are not required * Will accept experience over fellowship in Geriatrics Support and Collaboration: * Work with other APPs and MDs * Additional support staff available * The locum provider will not be responsible for mid-levels, though APPs may need to consult with them Facility Information: * Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System: Point Click Care and EPIC * No surgical staff or procedures required On-Call Requirements: * APPs: No on-call duties * MD: On-call duties negotiable About WhiteCoat Locums: - Physician owned agency - Highest-Pay rates on the market - $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail - 100% transparency
