Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed: * ASAP - Ongoing * Minimum 3 months, likely 6-9 months * Shift times: 6a-2p, 9a-6p,1p-10p,3p-11p,4p-10p,9p-6a Clinical Information: * Number of beds: 50 * Average patient census: 130 pts/day * Patients rounding on per day: 1.95 PPH * Daily admissions: 28 * Level 3 trauma designation * Support staff: ED RN Fully staffed, 32 hours of APP coverage per day * Common cases: C/P, Abd Pain, AMS * Annual ER admissions: 11,286 * Number of EM physicians on staff per shift: 2 Required: * DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active * Current Flu Vaccine * Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 * Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility. * Board Certified in one of the following: * American Board of Emergency Medicine * American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine * Active TN License * Minimum 3 years experience - Highly Preferred * ACLS, ATLS * Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
