We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen and a proven track record in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This role plays a critical part in supporting the financial health and growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5-15 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
