Job Summary

Job Summary
The Manager International Tax will assist in the preparation and review of all U.S. international tax calculations, tax forms, and provision for income tax. This position will also help identify U.S. international tax planning opportunities and process improvements.
Expected Contributions
Supports the AVP International Tax in the following key functions:
- Assisting in the calculation and review of E&P, GILTI, and Subpart F for the tax return and quarterly tax provision.
- Review of all required US tax compliance forms and filings for foreign entities such as 5471s, 5472s, 8858s, 8865s
- Assist with the foreign tax credit calculations, including 861-expense allocation process and Form 1118
- Assist with US international quarterly tax provision
- Responsible for calculation of Section 986(c), 987 and 988 impacts
- Provide analytical and data support for tax planning team
- Research and interpret current and emerging tax regulations
- Assist in the preparation of tax controversy matters
- Drive process improvements to achieve operational efficiencies
Candidate Profile
Education
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or commensurate experience
- CPA or Master of Taxation preferred
Experience
- Minimum of three years of international tax experience with similar size organizations in a public or corporate environment.
- International tax (compliance & provision) experience preferred.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong Excel skills; ability to create large workbooks and create formulas, macros, pivot tables
- Proficiency in PC based applications including Excel, MS Access and MS Word.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, one-on-one, group).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task, be adaptable and successfully work in dynamic work environment with varying managers and leadership styles
- Ability to work extended hours, especially during international tax compliance season to ensure all assigned work is completed timely and accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
