Counterintelligence Support Representative

The CISR will provide foreign travel, foreign contact and foreign visitor threat briefings and debriefings in accordance with DoDD 5240.06 and applicable DISA instructions. Must have completed a baseline Counterintelligence Fundamentals course. Completion of the DoD Counterintelligence Agent Credentialing Course at the Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy (JCITA) or military equivalent school preferred, but not required. Must have 3-5 years commensurate experience as a CI professional. Must have excellent writing skills.
- Responsible for receiving, processing, conducting and analyzing foreign travel, foreign contact reports and foreign visitor briefings and debriefings to identify counterintelligence concerns. Maintain counterintelligence databases used to report foreign travel, foreign contacts and foreign visitor activities.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting potential Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) threats, elicitation, eavesdropping, electronic interception, spotting, assessment, and recruitment. Responsible for identifying behaviors, patterns, and trends in OCONUS travel, foreign visits to DISA locations and field sites, and foreign contact reports that could be indicative of a potential insider threat in accordance with DoDD 5240.06 and DISA Insider Threat Instruction 240-110-43. Responsible for drafting Intelligence Information Reports (IIR) and/or CI/InT referrals when pertinent information is obtained during routine duties or during travel, visit, and contact briefings and/or debriefings.
- Assists with conducting Counterintelligence inquiries for reported incidents to determine potential Foreign Intelligence, International Terrorism and Associated Cyberspace Contacts, Activities, Indicators and Behaviors.
- Assists in the development of vulnerability and all-source threat assessments designed to support agency missions, plans, goals and objectives.
