Key Responsibilities
- Scout and identify innovative game concepts and emerging trends within the gaming industry.
- Build relationships with game developers, studios, and agents to secure first-look deals.
- Evaluate game mechanics, storytelling, and overall potential for commercial success.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management with clear, analytical backing.
- Attend industry conferences, gaming expos, and other events to network and gather insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align scouting efforts with company's strategic objectives.
- Negotiate terms and facilitate initial discussions for potential game acquisitions or partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in game scouting, game design, or a similar role within the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of game mechanics and a keen eye for emerging trends.
- Excellent networking skills with a proven track record of building industry relationships.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as required by the role.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
Compensation
- Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
