POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic VP/Group Account Director with over 10 years of experience in the experiential marketing industry, seeking to leverage an extensive background in Client Services, strategic planning, and team leadership to drive client success and team growth within a forward-thinking marketing agency. Known for cultivating strong client relationships, delivering innovative marketing solutions, and leading high-performing teams towards achieving exceptional results.

ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Spearhead the account management team, overseeing a portfolio of key clients within various industries, food & beverage, hospitality, and consumer goods, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive full service marketing strategies that align with clients' objectives and drive meaningful and measurable client ROI.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of up to 20 members, fostering collaboration between creative, strategy, and production teams to deliver cohesive and innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Manage client budgets, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing campaign effectiveness and profitability.
  • Cultivate and expand client relationships through strategic insights and consistent delivery of impactful marketing solutions, leading to consistent growth in account size.
  • Drive internal process improvements, enhancing workflow efficiency, team collaboration, and project management methodologies.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in account management, client services, and/or marketing strategy, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to cultivate long-term relationships, drive client retention, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to translate client objectives into effective marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong budget management skills, with the ability to optimize resources, allocate budgets effectively, and ensure profitability on all accounts.
  • Experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and managing workflow efficiency across teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and campaign results to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to address client challenges and optimize campaign performance.
  • Experience driving internal process improvements, including enhancing project management methodologies and optimizing team collaboration.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
    • 25% domestic travel as well as to and from marketing and client events.

  • When at the office; incumbent will be mostly sitting down in front of a computer.

  • Standing and presenting.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy while shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
