WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Lead Knowledge Analyst (LKA) within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providing functional expertise and insights. You will work together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
Additionally, as an LKA you will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the Maintenance business, serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts for the topic, whilst working with business leaders to drive proposals & go-to-market efforts. As an LKA, you may line manage a team of junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoing feedback and career development support.
The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices and helps our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities. The Maintenance business comprises an expert network of knowledge team members and experienced consultants who help our clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., maintenance strategy, planning & supply chain, maintenance execution, Digitalization/ AI, workforce mgt ).
The candidate is expected to have relevant expertise in at least two or more of the following topics: Insource/outsource, Interval strategy, usage-based maintenance, design to maintain, repair & route optimization, lean manufacturing, turnaround, predictive maintenance/AI, frontline workforce productivity, MRO, etc.

BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 3+ years consulting experience in relevant Maintenance topics required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
- In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
- Expertise in Maintenance and relevant industries (Energy, Vehicle Fleet, Rail - Infrastructure)
- Fluency in English
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
