Job Summary:
The Production Assembler (Electronics) will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components of rolling stock. This role requires attention to detail with an emphasis on diligence; and the ability to read and interpret technical schematics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Assemble and install electronic components, wiring, and subassemblies into rolling stock according to technical specifications and work instructions. (OK)
• Read and interpret production drawings to ensure proper assembly and functionality of electronic systems.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble and install electronic components. OK
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company standards. OK
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:
 

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly, particularly in a manufacturing or production settingpreferred.
• Understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. OK
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly work. OK
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills. OK

Physical Requirements:
 

• Ability to walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move heavy components (up to [weight limit], as necessary).
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
