Job Summary:

As a material handler on the dock, your responsibilities include assisting in the performance of a variety of warehousing duties. Safely load and unload chemical products from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles. Keep track of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate records and adhering to plant safety protocols and guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Perform Inventory transactions in SAP and record keeping both manual and electronic.

Assist with stock management, including rotation and stocking according to SAP guidelines.

Perform daily preventive maintenance on forklift equipment.

Handle loads ranging from 5 to 60,000 lbs.

Adhere to plant safety policies and procedures.

Inventory raw materials and finished products, record transactions manually and electronically

. Load, unload, and transfer chemical products in drums, pails, bags, super sacks, and portable tanks. Operate forklifts to move drums, pails, bags, and other containers.

Skills and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

3+ years related experience

1 + years of industrial material handling experience using a forklift

Ability to maintain forklift certification Ability to read and interpret written instructions and to write intelligible reports

Knowledge of plant layout including the location of finished products and raw materials.

Knowledge of paperwork flow for shipping and receiving documents. Plant safety policies and procedures.

Previous industrial chemical handling experience preferred Forklift certified and or ability to drive a yard truck preferred.

SAP knowledge a plus

Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position a plus.

Ability to produce complete and accurate paperwork Basic mathematical and computer knowledge

Work Schedule:

8-hour shift work outside in all types of weather.

Willing to work on call and overtime as needed, including holidays.
