JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing guidance and support in all areas of Human Resources (HR), within a designated region, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations, and as directed by the Vice President of HR. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, employee relations, HR compliance, investigations, Family Medical and Leave Act tracking, worker's compensation oversight, ongoing training, recruitment assistance, and employee engagement. This position works closely with facility leadership, Business Office Managers as well as our Resource Center departments.

This role will support our managed facilities located throughout the Greater Des Moines, Iowa region, with travel required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; orcomparable combination of education and human resources related experience
  • At least threeyears of human resource management experience; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highlypreferred
  • Thoroughknowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • High level ofcomputer skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiencywith or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talentmanagement systems
  • Validunrestricted Driver's License, personal transportation may be required. Must beavailable to travel region-wide, with overnight stays as needed
  • Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
