Job Description
- Hire and monitor performance of all shipping and receiving employees.
- Process all orders into picking tickets for shipping personnel.
- Generate bills of ladings with lot code information for shipments.
- Schedule and track all outgoing truck shipments.
- Schedule and track all incoming receiving shipments.
- Coordinate proper receiving procedure and storage of all raw materials, packaging, and plant materials.
- Responsible for storage of all finished goods.
- Inventory and cycle count all finished goods.
- Process and enter all receipts and returns into inventory system.
- Work directly with customer service when satisfying customer orders and arrival timing.
- Work directly with production managers regarding customer finished goods needs.
- Control and determine outside warehousing needs.
- Responsible for all power lift truck equipment.
- Serve on Recall, Food Defense, HACCP, Safety, and BRC Teams

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate is someone who is passionate about impacting larger growth and takes a Customer Service approach to managing Carrier and Logistics providers. You will have previous experience as a Logistics Manager in a Perishable Food manufacturer, preferably with previous People Management experience.
