SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager - TMS is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in support of Team Member Services (TMS). The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization and maintains an effective knowledge of policies, processes, company communication, immediate and long-term goals, and culture.

The Human Resources Manager - TMS is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in support of Team Member Services (TMS). The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization and maintains an effective knowledge of policies, processes, company communication, immediate and long-term goals, and culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Review and assign HR Acuity tickets to appropriate team, HRBP, etc.
- Create and respond to cases in the case management system until completion and case closure.
- Consults with HRBP and HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes data, prepares reports and identifies trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to aid in developing solutions, programs, and policies/practices. Provides data that can aid in HR strategy.
- Provide prompt, efficient, and satisfactory responses to team member inquiries via HR Acuity, phone calls, etc.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for improving the team member experience and provide feedback to relevant teams and departments.
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues, partnering with HRD/SHRD on more complex issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to frontline management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) as appropriate.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Conduct and/or participate in educational activities, in-services, team meetings, etc.
- May assume temporary HR Generalist/HR Director responsibilities as needed.
- Effectively communicates expectations; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.
- Consistent, regular attendance in compliance with attendance policies.
- Identify confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality of information.
- Flexibility with work schedule as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong time management and organizational skills required.
- Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); proficiency in all related USRC applications expected within 90 days of hire.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
