On-boarding new Electrical Engineers and direct oversight of trainee’s deliverables until they are self-sufficient and knowledgeable in the related controls process. Communicating with externally and internally a contact window of electrical/control engineer.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe work environment.Develop Electrical Drawings & Control programming (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred) from P&ID’s.Ability to integrate PLC logic with DCS/SCADA systemsSource new components and electrical instruments.Review Customer System Specifications and reflect to design.Selecting and evaluating electrical industrial instruments.Travel required to perform troubleshooting, training and start-up support. Travel amount varies by month:On average 30-50% for one year.  Work with field services to provide electrical & control support.Work within a budget.Creation for BOM or list for procurement for electrical and instruments and control.Working with outsourcing design or programming to create drawings, and program.QualificationsMinimum 7 year controls/electrical degree or electrical license a plus.Familiarity with PLC/HMI programming a plusIntimate with UL and NEC.Preferred - knowledge of water treatment equipment and components EEO/AA/F/M/Vet/DisabledJob SummaryJob ID: 2023-2006Category: Engineering & EquipmentType: Full Time Exempt
