See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: As part of the talented Finance team, you will be a key member of our finance leadership team. This role is responsible to lead execution of business goverance framework to ensure global internal controls are effective and compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, company policy and other applicable legislation. The Audit Manager will be a key adviser to the Finance leadership team across two divisions and broader business as to the design and effectiveness of our Internal Control framework globally. This is a hybrid opportunity onsite 2 days a week in either Fond du Lac, WI, Menomonee Falls, WI or Mettawa, IL. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Assist in the development of the annual risk assessment and audit plan Lead and participate in process documentation validation, analysis and verification of internal controls, both financial and operational Coordinate timely and appropriate issue closure and mitigation for open audit matters Evaluate control deficiencies for impact and perform root cause analysis to determine appropriate management actions Build relationships and collaborate cross functionally with process owners to gain understanding of their operations and underlying control environment Identify business concerns, improvement opportunities and recommendations for corrective action; assist management with implementation of improvements Consult on internal control / risk engagements with global finance leaders Other projects as required Skills and Abilities: Strongly self-motivated and disciplined Demonstrated knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards and GAAP Verbal and written skills necessary to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Working knowledge of Oracle Applications, WMS, Dynamics, with detailed experience in Oracle manufacturing modules is a plus Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required. 3-5 years related experience (financial reporting, internal or external audit) is required.
