We are seeking experience  developing AWS Lambdas and step functions, Amazon  EventBridge, CloudWatch, AWS AppConfig, and AWS DocumentDB. You should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.  High-level job responsibilities:Design and develop API specifications using OpenAPI Specifications/YAML that are scalable and provide greater security on data.Create build and deployment pipelines for APIs using appropriate tools to implementContinuous integration and continuous deployment.Support end-end management of the APIs over its entire lifecycleDay-to-day job responsibilitiesWork with various application teams to understand their business needs and requirements for the API implementationEnsure API documentation is created and remains up to dateWrite code and design quality with appropriate logging, monitoring, tracing, and security standards in placeHelp troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the API platform, API accessibility and API deploymentsPerform root cause analysis for Production issues and come up with solutions that will prevent them from happening in the futureParticipate and contribute in grooming technical user stories impacting integrationSkills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 6+ years of experience in the development, and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions based on Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Web Services), or equivalent experience4+ years of experience in the development, and implementation of Amazon Cloud solutions: AWS Lambdas and step functions, Amazon EventBridge, CloudWatch, AWS AppConfig, ASL, and AWS DocumentDB enterprise-wide solutions based on Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot)High-level qualifications:Excellent analytical, oral, written communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with global delivery technical teams.Experience in Agile methodologies - Kanban or SCRUMExperience in Deploying Microservices (spring-boot, node.js) on Docker, Kubernetes, etc.Good understanding of security protocols (e.g. OAuth, SAML)Governance, Event Driven Architecture, message-based architectures, and caching strategies and frameworks.Specific qualifications:6+ years of experience in development, and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions based on Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Webservices, Spring, Spring Boot)At least 3 years of hands on experience with design, development and implementation of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration or Node.js based MicroservicesDemonstrated knowledge of test-driven development practices and experience with any of the version control tools such as GitLab, and Continuous Integrations with various CI/CD toolsExperience with Swagger/Swagger HubExperience with API Gateway & Management, e.g. ApigeeExperience with Docker & KubernetesExperience with AWS cloud productsSalary RangesCompensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
