Summary:
This position will be an integral member of the US-based Corporate Communications function with the primary objectives of maintaining and implementing website enhancements to DS.US that aligns with the company's corporate brand standards. Additionally, this role will be responsible for leading the strategic development and overseeing digital media buying for the Daiichi Sankyo U.S. corporate marketing campaign.
Responsible for partnering with IT on website copy, technical, design and SEO updates and develop a cohesive website strategy (inclusive of SEM and infrastructure) to enhance the overall user experience, increase search and discoverability of key website pages (blog, newsroom, etc.) and improve overall website SEO. Work collaboratively with the broader DSI Corporate Communications team to ensure all web content is up to date and aligned with website copy compliance standards.
This role will also be responsible for implementing templatized design/page updates throughout all of DS.US in partnership with IT. This role will require direct experience working with CMS (coding not required but preferable) along with social media advertising and marketing experience. This role will have experience conducting website audiences, implementing website best practices, monitoring and measuring traffic and managing wireframe updates. Heavily focus on overseeing the agencies responsible for executing the U.S. corporate marketing campaign creation and paid media.
Oversee the U.S. corporate marketing campaign digital execution across a variety of channels including (web, social media, SEM, sponsored content, internal, etc.) in support of the Daiichi Sankyo-US digital channel strategy. Must have a passion for the digital space and a comfort-level with operating and driving initiatives within complex, matrix organizations.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Digital Marketing
Lead cross-agency coordination and serve as primary lead for executing U.S. corporate digital marketing campaign creation and paid media. Responsible for digital execution across a variety of channels including (web, social media, SEM, sponsored content, internal, etc.) in support of the Daiichi Sankyo-US digital channel strategy.
Coordinate with internal leaders and employees to coordinate video production schedules and partner with broader DSI Corporate Communications teams to develop promotional copy and internal promotion.
Digital Website Oversight
Oversee ongoing copy, design and functional updates to DS.US.
Ongoing page updates across DS.US to align with new brand templates (include copy coordination with broader DSI Corporate Communications team).
Oversee website intake form to manage all copy updates and page compliance requirements.
Develop strategy in partnership with IT for “future build” of holistic company newsroom including automating of press release publishing.
Develop overarching website optimization strategy including SEO, SEM, search term and key word purchasing (DS.US homepage, newsroom and corporate blog).
Collaborate productively with teams and individuals across businesses, and colleagues in peer functions, to ensure all website copy is up-to-date.
Coordinate web publishing requests with IT partner (press releases, Our Stories, corporate management, etc. – serving as primary liaison with IT for website content updates.
Track KPIs and channel metrics for DS.US (reporting insights for web improvements).
US Corporate Paid Digital Media
Responsible for overseeing corporate paid digital media strategy and coordinating execution with agency.
Serve as primary U.S. digital paid lead: supporting Talent Acquisition team and global oncology congress for paid media efforts. Working with corporate digital AOR to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive paid digital marketing strategy. Manage corporate digital paid budget in support of additional content workstreams and sponsoring “key” corporate content.
Coordinate paid media efforts related to corporate blog stories.
Create corporate SEM media budget and manage agency execution; including reporting and insights.
Partner with Global Product PR team to increase discoverability of news release via SEM; coordination execution with agency and monitoring ROI.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
Bachelor's Degree required
Experience Qualifications
7 or More Years Experience in website development (user experience) including SEM/SEO “structural” enhancements focused on content development, orientation, design best practices and overall user experience. Updating and optimizing website infrastructure including but not limited to SEO, SEM, paid search, etc. required.
5+ years experience creating a holistic and executing digital paid media strategy. Direct experience with creative agency coordination, digital deployment and ad campaign development, website and social media analytics and measurement required.
3+ years experience in a highly regulated industry such as finance, technology, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, as well as social media crisis management are preferred preferred.
Experience working within website CMS to make direct website updates and working within, but also updating existing page templates preferred.
Travel
Ability to travel up to 10% Business meetings as required
