The Global Senior Manager, Hemophilia Medical Unit, reports to the Medical Unit Head (MUH) for Hemophilia. The scope of activities is defined with the MUH. Selected key responsibilities include:Assisting development of the Hemophilia Medical Operating and Tactical Plan in liaison with the broad Hemophilia Medical Unit team and partnership with allied teams (e.g. Medical Excellence, Patient Affairs, Market Access)Accountability for and delivery of core global medical tactics as outlined in the global medical tactical plan (including but not limited to Medical content development; congress strategic planning; digital platforms)Medical review of medical and marketing of applicable materials to ensure accuracy, substantiation of claims and adherence to applicable policies and guidelines, and Medical leadership in the context of cross-functional and committee reviewSupportive role for external engagement (e.g. Medical advisory boards)Operational synergy with Medical Information colleagues to ensure updating and creation of required SRLs in alignment with Medical information needsFacilitation of the Medical engagement plan for prioritized congresses Active participation including progress reports to enable decision-making at all relevant internal Medical meetings and forumsThis is a remote position subject to existing BioMarin policy. Business travel to the office, off-site meetings, events, and/or scientific conferences as designated by the MUH or otherwise required to fulfill business needs will be required.SkillsIt is expected that the Senior Manager, Hemophilia Medical Unit has the experience and knowledge required to move tactics forward and collaborate effectively.
