This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including: Expanding iOS-based platforms to bring new Generative AI-enabled experiences to life Prototyping ideas to support feature definition and iteration Communicating ideas to the Apple Design Team and other cross functional partners Participating in architecture discussions and code review Building internal tools to ship and maintain high quality softwareMinimum QualificationsStrong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals - BS Computer Science or equivalent experience requirediOS Development experience, including experience with Swift and Apple development toolsAbility to break down large features and implement practical solutionsCuriosity about new technologies, flexibility, and openness to ambiguity.Preferred QualificationsThe following skills are not required, but one or more of these areas would be valuable:Familiarity with AI principles or experience with developing software with large language modelsTrack record of working cross-functionally and building strong partnerships amongst teams and individuals.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
