We are team passionate about technology, have aspirational goals, and love to win as a team.Your ImpactThe Strategy and Planning Leader will support the Senior Director of Planning and Operations and the SVP of the Core ASIC Group to drive business planning initiatives, manage the team's operational cadence, and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of administrative, planning, and support materials. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in strategic planning, a comprehensive understanding of hardware development processes, and a demonstrated track record of success in business operations and planning. Specific responsibilities include: Support and create the development and implementation of business plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and performance metrics.Collaborate with engineering, product management, finance, and other cross-functional teams to define operational goals and deliverables.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Prepare presentations, documents, and spreadsheets to be shared at the SVP, EVP and Board level. Ensure timely preparation and communication of monthly program reviews, quarterly business reviews and annual planning documents.Organize team meetings, offsites, and organizational meetings as required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other related field.10+ years of experience in business planning and operations roles.7+ years of experience in networking hardware or semiconductor design businesses.Examples of excellent data visualization skills using excel, powerpoint, tableau, etc. Clear examples of business planning expertise including your ability to build and facilitate monthly, quarterly and annual planning events.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree.Understanding of Engineering optics at Cisco, including development lifecycle and processes, business planning and budgeting. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
