The Engineering Manager will oversee 3 direct reports and act as a technical lead for ongoing and future products through production.

Client Details

A small but growing plastics manufacturer that is on track to have a record revenue year in 2024. They continue to add head count and seeking an individual to head their engineering department as a people and technical engineering manager.

Description

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

• Overseeing 3 direct reports (all three engineers)
• Lead technical expert of design, planning and procurement
• Process owner of each ongoing project
• Hire and grow a team of engineers as new business comes in
• Lead outside project management relationships

Profile

The successful Engineering Manager will have what follows:

• 5+ years managing a team in a manufacturing space
• Experience in the plastics manufacturing space
• Interest in becoming a Director in the near future
• BS in an engineering related degree
