Electrical Panel Assembler

Hiring Opportunity: Alliance OH

Our client is looking for an IMMEDIATE hire for an electrical panel assembler role out of their Alliance OH facility. Our client is a premier manufacturer of different material handling solutions for companies worldwide.

The electrical panel assembler would be on a 3 week project starting on 10/21 and would be in charge of performing electrical panel layout and wiring on key components in product line.

Qualified candidates will ideally have assembly experience.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

* Performs electrical panel layout and machine wiring, using schematics and/or blueprints
* Tests of completed product to validate operation.
* Diagnoses malfunctioning generators and controllers.
* Tests malfunctioning parts and discusses malfunction with other appropriate personnel to make
diagnoses.
* Works with medium voltage components.
* Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
* Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
* Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
* Always adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment
(PPE) and proper handling of hazardous materials.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Ability to recognize and safely operate hand tools & electrical testing equipment.
* Ability to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
* Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
* Ability to lift 35 pounds at a time
* Produces quality product within the scheduled hours.
* Prior blueprint / electrical drawing reading experience
