Amentum is now hiring for several Systems Engineer (All Levels) positions in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $250,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).

The candidate will perform the following duties:
- Oversees engineering activities of an organization's information systems.
- Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
- Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements.
- Defines system and product requirements; and generates mechanical, electrical, and software performance and reliability specifications and requirements.
- Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution.
- Manages and documents system configurations and oversees all transitions into production.
- Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful project implementation, and performs post project end user support.
- Provides some technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration and technical management.
- Assists in providing technical input to the systems engineering process.
- May assist in developing and implementing installation plans.
- May assist in preparation and presentation of systems assurance reviews.
- Identifies requirements and deficiencies in hardware and software products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
- 1-10+ years of experience.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Program Management Institute (PMI) certification (desired)
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Past experience working in C5ISR an CSIA.
