Weston & Sampson is currently seeking a Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in site/civil drainage experience along with knowledge of surface water hydrology and collection systems out of our Rocky Hill, Connecticut office.

What you'll do:
- Successful candidates will have 5 to 10 years of experience and have a solid understanding of surface water hydrology and drainage system hydraulics, as well as site design that will including grading, retention systems, low-impact development strategies, and resilient infrastructure
- Strong experience in HydroCAD, and/or Hydraflow Hydrographs/Storm Sewers is a plus
- Experience in working with municipal clients and the ability to effectively communicate and present complex information in a public setting
- Must be willing to collaborate remotely with coworkers in other locations
What you will bring:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or a similar degree is required
- MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or similar degree is a plus
- Connecticut licensed Professional Engineer, or ability to pass exam within the first year of employment is preferred
- Experience in the field with oversite of construction is a plus
- Experience modeling and designing stormwater BMPs/green infrastructure on LID projects is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational/time management skills
- Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites within New England
- Valid driver's license is required
- Confidence, enthusiasm, motivation, positive attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit to help us continue our growth in the Rocky Hill office
