WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager for our Columbia, Maryland office. Be involved in projects with our Program Management/Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

The ideal candidate will be an engineer with at least 7-10 years of experience in water/wastewater project management, planning, design, and construction management. The selected candidate will have experience in water/wastewater utilities and facilities project management and excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $107,100-144,500
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage projects for the complete lifecycle, planning, design, and construction.
- Coordinate Project designers and construction managers activities.
- Manage capital improvement projects including project schedule, budget, and deliverables.
- Permit coordination.
- Design Reviews
- Constructability Reviews
- Provide technical presentations to project teams and other stakeholders.
- Perform research and subject matter coordination to assist in development of CIP projects.
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or relevant field
- 7-10 years water or wastewater design and construction experience
- Strong oral and written skills
- Familiarity with the practices and principles of Design and Construction
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with water/wastewater pipeline, treatment plant and pump stations projects.
- Experience in establishing workflows and business processes
- Data and information systems management experience
- Experience in a web-based document management system such as e-Builder, Unifier and CM-14
- Ability to support scheduling for a program of multiple projects, including monitoring costs.
- EIT with desire to achieve PE.
- Ability to lead and conduct large meetings and work in a client setting
