The Opportunity:
As a Chief Engineer, you will be focused on building and delivering Booz Allen's Digital Twin platform and solutions for our clients. You will lead an engineering team that will enhance the existing platform and ensure high quality technical solutions are delivered across client engagements. You will bring extensive experience across several layers of the tech stack - to include infrastructure, platform, data, and security. You will bring a product-mindset to efforts and apply modern software development principles to our engineering efforts including DevSecOps, Agile, and Cloud-native development.
On client delivery projects, you will be expected to drive forward on client needs to deliver expected outcomes. You will lead teams to implement, manage, maintain, and operate the Digital Twin platform within client-owned environments, starting with assessing and gathering requirements through design and deployment of the infrastructure and platform layers.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with cloud, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, or on-prem solutions
- 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams within DevSecOps environments and applying full-stack IT modernization approaches
- 3+ years of experience with continuous integration (CI) or continuous deployment (CD) pipelines in public or hybrid cloud environments using technologies, such as Jenkins, GitLab, Apache Subversion, Ansible, Puppet, or AWS Cloud Forms
- 3+ years of experience as a solution architect of domain-driven architectures and design and development of microservices-based solutions using platforms, including AWS EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift, or Docker Enterprise
- Experience with ETL, data pipeline, and automation
- Experience with containerization approaches and tools such as Kubernetes or Docker
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with delivering simulations, AR/VR solutions
- Experience with development in Unity, Unreal, or NVIDIA Omniverse
- Experience with MBSE tool sets such as Magic draw
- Experience with data ingestion, automation, and validation for geolocated data
- Knowledge of remote rendering pipelines for 3D applications such as HLODs
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage senior-level client stakeholders and support client delivery
