Your Role
The Manager, Security Training will collaborate with security regional vice-presidents, directors, and managers to develop, facilitate, and implement security training in accordance with local and department guidelines. They will partner with leadership to facilitate WBD domestic CPR and AED programs

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $65,170.00 - $121,030.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.

Your Role
The Manager, Security Training will collaborate with security regional vice-presidents, directors, and managers to develop, facilitate, and implement security training in accordance with local and department guidelines. They will partner with leadership to facilitate WBD domestic CPR and AED programs
Your Role Accountabilities
- Collaborates with regional leadership & counter-part to develop, facilitate, implement, and oversee security officer training program, lesson plans, presentations, and training manuals
- Conducts research & provides recommendations on emerging training practices, topics, and techniques for WBDGS officers
- Standardizes, coordinates and evaluates individual and group field training exercise
- Collaborates with WBDGS regional teams to initiate content changes to training program and develop innovative methods of instruction to address gaps in information
- Work with regional leadership to develop and implement a train-the-trainer program
- Coordinates & facilitates new hire security officer training, in-service training, local, state & department required training
- Instructs and certify security employees (where applicable) for CPR, firearms, and other departmental initiatives
- Partner with regional leadership and business unit to develop, coordinate & facilitate WBD employee CPR, AED, and high risk deployment trauma training programs (where applicate)
- Flexibility to travel & train security and WBD employees in other locations
- Monitors progress of students, documents results, and/or recommends corrective action to include additional training
- Partners with local teams
- Atlanta only - oversee company firearms program (maintain company firearms and ammunition)
- Maintains accurate training records for WBDGS & WBD employee training programs
- Performs other security related duties as assigned
- Process & track training expenditures
- Collaborates with regional leadership to identify, interview, and select instructors & field training officers (where applicable)
- Under guidance from regional leadership, leads and/or participates in ad hoc committees
- At the direction of regional leadership, may coordinate outside training class/certifications (may include dispatch school, executive protection, mental health awareness, behavioral recognition, etc.)
- At the direction of leadership, acts as a liaison and WBDGS training representative between partnering business units and/or outside vendors
- In collaboration with WBDGS management, Labor Relations, P&C, Procurement, and/or legal to initiate and document program documentation and records maintenance protocols (may include working statements, agreements, memoranda, training plans, field training exercise, training policies & procedures, etc.)
- As needed, at the direction of leadership provide adhoc operational support and deployments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of working in security related field
- AHA Instructor Trainer
- State Required Security Officer Certification (if applicable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
- Proficient in Technology
- Background in training management & facilitation
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
