HYBRID ROLE: 3x/week in the Tempe, AZ office
About The Role:
The Social Media Manager will support our global sales team in the Marketing, Brand and Communications (MBC) organization at Gen. They will be responsible for the ownership of the partner social media strategy (paid and organic) that will span various regions and Go-to-Market partnership channels. They will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders (Sales, Consumer + Corporate Social Media, Legal) as well as agencies, to create a compelling social content strategy that engages with our B2B audiences. The ideal candidate will have a background in implementing, optimizing, and reporting on other Digital Marketing tactics such as content marketing, display advertising (retargeting), webinar management, email marketing, etc.
This is role is based at our U.S. headquarters in Tempe, AZ. The person in this role is required to be in the office multiple days a week.

Responsibilities:
- Organic social: Own, manage, and implement the social media content calendar for a variety of partner channels to increase awareness, education, and engagement among B2B audiences
- Paid social: Conceptualize, launch, test, optimize, and report on paid social campaigns to support our partner marketing channels through LinkedIn ads.
- Content Strategy: Develop an ongoing B2B content strategy, specific to key audiences, targeting, and which types of content formats work best across each platform
- Content Production: Create and edit B2B content for all social channels internally, independently and in partnership with internal and external creative agencies
- Content Management: Approve, schedule, publish, and track posts across social channels using tools like Asana, Khorus, Hootsuite, HubSpot
- Community Management: Monitor and engage with our partner communities through posts, forums, and more
- Reporting: Generate monthly reports to track performance and growth and update budget accordingly
- Budgeting: Establish social budgets for different channels and ad accounts, and track on an ongoing and month-to-month basis
- Digital Marketing: Contribute to the planning, messaging, launch, and reporting associated with other online Marketing tactics like content marketing, display advertising, webinar management, email marketing, etc.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Skilled at effectively leveraging social media channels to support B2B and B2B2C content strategies
- Ability to create and manage social content calendars that will require prioritization, time management, high adaptability and flexibility; capable of managing shifting priorities and deadlines
- Highly experienced with social media management and paid social advertising platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
- Ability to develop testing strategies to understand what resonates with our target audiences.
- Skilled in reporting on performance of various campaigns to determine how our tactics are performing and share these results with our internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify trends and insights
- Strong interpersonal skills - can work across a variety of teams and people with ease
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or similar relevant field
- 7+ years of social media marketing experience
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, creative formats, and trends
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills
- Experience with marketing automation software and HubSpot is preferred
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
