Quality Assurance Manager

Amentum is now hiring for a Quality Assurance Manager (All levels) - CSIA position in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $275,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
- Manages, plans, and coordinates all areas of the quality assurance program to assure that information systems services and programs meet organizational standards.
- Oversees quality assurance staff who test, evaluate, and validate new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines.
- Develops and maintains quality control methods and procedures, and practices, and coordinates objectives in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize costs.
- Studies schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for products, services, and/or completion of job assignments.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
- Develops and analyzes department budget to identify budget needs and/or reductions and may allocate operating budgets funds.
- Interprets company policy to employees and enforces safety regulations.
- May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
- Has experience in creating and implementing a detailed plan to ensure overall quality of all IT products, services and systems.
- Has experience in resolving all project or program release problems and take corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve results.
- Has experience in assuring the viability, functionality and effectiveness of essential tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline.
- 1-10+ years' experience.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
