The Account Manager's critical role is the day-to-day management of client relationships from ideation to completion while providing concise cross interdepartmental communication to all teams. They inspire the confidence of the client through presence, agile thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail, manage client feedback and take appropriate steps to address challenges/concerns. This role can be based in either New York or Los Angeles.

This role includes the tracking of all creative deliverables, creation and oversight of production workstreams, organizing workflow and workload amongst the greater project team, and the management of daily project comms between the client and agency. The Account Manager ensures that the agency is delivering innovative digital output that matches overall client objectives and should have a keen understanding of digital production, as well as a deep understanding of social media management, processes, and timelines. This is an immersive role which services the Client's internal team and is equal parts account and project management.

The Digital Project Manager will be expected to oversee a multitude of tasks; including, but not limited to:
  • Maintain oversight of account, ensuring both internal objectives and client objectives are being delivered upon based on project brief with a keen understanding of the consumer product good space.
  • Intake and consolidate project briefs, arranging campaign kick-off with cross-functional teams.
  • Create meeting agendas, internal and external meeting cadences, and meeting recaps. Leads internal collaboration and delegation of team deliverables.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication, acting as the main account management and production point of contact on all assigned projects, as well as exhibiting an ability to assess, address, and communicate any issues or concerns that may delay the project or deliverables while keeping obstacles and considerations top of mind.
  • Manage project-related production budgets, as well as individual production and creative budgets within the overall project budget, streamlining POs and invoicing to Finance as necessary.
  • Manage the greater project team in the daily preparation and execution of editorial calendars for any assigned social media management projects (Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest), including the delivery of all creative assets in accordance with the calendar and provide oversight of deadlines and approval processes as set forth by the clients.
  • Provide strategic and creative thought support for client needs; displaying an understanding of challenges and opportunities while in turn assisting in developing creative solutions. Raising any implications of scope or budget constraints to Game Seven leadership.


Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of account management experience (social-specific) within an agency environment (roles can include social media manager).
  • Experience indirectly managing a team of 5+ i.e. design, production, creative, etc.
  • Strong understanding of how social-first concepts work and can be executed. You will be the last line of review before going to the client, this is crucial.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage 6 to 8 brand socials at the same time (under the same umbrella).
  • Excellent communication and organization skills supported by a high level of professionalism, while allowing for flexibility with the client's needs.
  • Ability to think on your toes and pivot when information from client is scarce.
  • Skilled expository writing and oral presentation skills.
  • Experience with budget tracking and forecasting risk/constraints within scope.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment with tight deadlines.
  • Highly competent with Asana, Microsoft Office (Teams) and Apple products and software, Google Slides, and Box/Dropbox.


The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
