The candidate will be part of the Services team providing engineering and technical leadership across the existing international C2 programs.The ideal candidate has a strong engineering or sustainment background working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Systems, Hardware, Software, I&T, etc.) through the different program lifecycle phases. Strong C2 experience, especially related to air defense, including mission planning, track management, engagement management, and weapons management. Working knowledge of tactical datalinks over IP networks is a plus. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills with desired experience in coordinating with foreign end users and foreign national contractors. Your strong analytical skills, coupled with your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments, make you an invaluable asset to our team.WHY JOIN USWith the autonomy to use your skills and expertise in innovative ways, you can take on exciting challenges and help solve some of the world's most pressing problems.Learn more about life in Denver, CO here!Basic Qualifications:• Perform sustainment and directed enhancements to a deployed air C2 systems in Iraq and Jordan, which requires intermittent travel to those countries• Coordinate efforts across multiple organizations (customer, peer, and subcontractor)• Accountable for overall engineering technical, cost and schedule performance for the specific programs• Tracks estimate to complete/Earned Value Management (ETC/EVM) metrics to monitor program performance and identify technical or staffing risks, while managing cost/schedule.• Ensures requirements baseline in documents, tracked, maintained, and verified• Ensures establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)• Provides timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements• Works with PM to ensure organizational standard processes are adapted, approved and followed• The project engineer is responsible for the overall system architecture of the programs• Active Secret ClearanceDesired Skills:• Experience in managing project or organization budgets, or acting as a CAM• Ability to make sound technical decisions and drive towards a system design to meet requirements• Ability to present to customers, leadership (internal and external), and peers• Demonstrated ability to actively and successfully engage externally with Customers, including Air Force program offices and International military customers and internally with Technical Leads, Chief Architects and Executive Leadership• Must be self-motivated, with excellent relationship building skills and must possess outstanding communication skills, both oral and written• Ability to write and review Statements of Work (SOW)• Previous experience working bids & proposals• Proficient with MS Office products and experience with graphic presentation programsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
