Overview:
Provides direct and indirect patient home care services that meet the psychological, physical, and general aspect of care; utilizes the nursing process in planning care; meets the communication and education needs of patient and family; provides care that reflect initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates in a professional, positive, and assertive manner congruent with Mercy Service Standards. Communicates with physicians and other team members about changes in patient’s condition and can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Normal caseload: 5-6 patients per day
Main coverage will be a 50-mile radius.
Friday-Monday Schedule (8a-6:30p)
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- License: current RN license in the state of Arkansas. Current valid driver's license
- Experience: Three years’ nursing experience with minimum one year in a hospital setting, then preferably in home care or the equivalent. Per Diem position requires minimum one year Home Health experience.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association
