Account Manager

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Account Manager within our NA Fuel division. This position falls under our Comdata line of business and is located in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be the primary client services contact responsible for supporting retention, client satisfaction, and sustaining client growth. This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of client relationships to ensure satisfaction and effective use of products and services to support portfolio retention. Account Managers work directly with clients to provide day-to-day account support and problem resolution through inbound emails and phone calls and conducts new customer onboarding calls, including training and education, making decisions regarding the setup and support of the client base and has the ability to approve financial fees and or transaction concessions. You will report directly to the Account Management Supervisor and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

As an Account Manager, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Reacting quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues in a professional manner
  • Working calmly in a fast-paced team environment; managing special projects without compromising other responsibilities
  • Responding to calls and emails (Cases); utilizing available tools to track appointments and managing priorities
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of products, services, and systems; proactively training and recommending best practices to clients
  • Effectively interacting with internal departments to support the customer base
  • Introducing and promoting other Comdata products to a satisfied client base; promoting lead generation to Sales Account Executive Team
  • Retaining client base of accounts and associated revenue through an appropriate level of contact with clients
  • Maintaining detailed account information in the contact management software
  • Meeting minimum productivity requirements in regard to department goals and standard operating procedures
Qualifications & Skills
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is strongly desired
  • 2+ years of account management experience
  • Excellent level of personal organization, strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in order to properly communicate our product offerings and functionality
  • Superior customer service skills are required, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues in a professional manner
  • Highly responsive to calls and emails; utilize available tools to track appointments and manage priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of products, services, and systems; ability to proactively recommend best practices to clients
  • Proficient phone and computer skills; Ability to answer and manage inbound calls, make outbound calls, and work with the other internal departments
