Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed: * January 2025 - ongoing * Monday to Friday: 7A-6PM, 11-10PM, 8PM- 7AM * Saturday/Sunday: 7AM-7PM, 7PM-7AM Clinical Information: * Number of beds: 180, 28 Bed ER * Census: 130 * Daily admissions: 40 * Patient population: Mixed but more Adults, Cardiac Strokes, less Pediatrics/Ob/ gyn * Types of cases/Acuity: High, Cardiac, Neuro cases , Orthopedics * Support staff: APP Support (Mon -Sun: 9AM-9PM, 1PM-1AM), Paramedics , phlebotomy sepsis team , stroke team, Respiratory therapist, IR team, Neuro Surgery, Cardiovascular CT surgery, Neurology, Gen surgery, GI, Vascular surgery, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Cardiology STEMI * How follow up cases will be handled: Sign out or Admit * Comprehensive Stroke Center * Teleneuro Robot for Strokes Required: * DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active * Current Flu Vaccine * Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 * Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility. * Board Certified in one of the following: * American Board of Emergency Medicine * American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine * Active FL License * Required Procedures: EM Core Procedures and moderate sedation * Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
