Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Location: A city located on the western shore of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, along Lake Michigan. It s known for its beautiful waterfront, recreational opportunities, and a rich history connected to the shipping and manufacturing industries. 45 miles to Grand Rapids! Facility: A healthcare facility providing a range of medical services to the local community, including emergency care, inpatient care, surgical services, diagnostic imaging, and specialized care in areas such as cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology. Opportunity: * Looking for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to fill their Locum/Locum to Perm need! * Dates of Coverage: January 2025 through June 2025 with possible extension while recruiting additional providers. * Schedule: Seven days on, seven days off, 7a-5p * No call! * Practice Setting: In patient cardiology rounding service * Looking for two providers to alternate weeks * Cardiology is a consult service only. 7 on 7 off, hours 7a-5p 7 days a week * Primary cardiology consult rounder * Responsible for rounding in patients on consult service plus responding to new consults * Will have local APP support 7 days a week * Call Ratio: Average 3 calls per weekend in addition to patients on rounding list. * Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: Average 6 consults per day. Inpatient rounding list averages 24 patients per day * Trauma Level/Designation: Level II * Total Number of Beds: 348 * Number of ICU Beds: 30 * Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group: 8 * Other Cardiologists be Present During Locum's Coverage: Yes * Locum Physician be Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: Not responsible for oversight but will have APP working with you on a daily basis. All evaluation responsibilities belong to group practice leader. * Documentation System/EMR: EPIC * Patient Age Demographic: * Mainly Adult/Geriatrics * Full-service OB on site * Adolescent/Peds transfer to pediatric hospital in Grand Rapids. Procedures Required: * Treadmill Stress Tests * Echocardiography * Transesophageal Echocardiography * Electrical Cardioversions * Electrocardiograms (EKGs) * Chemical Stress Tests * Tilt Table Tests * Echocardiography * Transesophageal Echocardiography Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
