Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward. Primary ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties of the Structure Representative are technical oversight and contract administration of bridge construction projects including inspection, planning, scheduling and coordination of construction inspection, quality assurance inspections of bridge and transportation structure work on the project, including foundations, substructure and superstructure, coordination with contractor, supervising inspectors, surveyors and materials testers as well as documentation of the project progress and payment.  Responsible for maintaining accurate daily record of construction site activity and produces required reports on progress, safety, quality, schedule and budget status.  Coordinates with others for documentation for contractor progress pay estimates. Does calculations to support the technical aspects of the structure work including shoring, falsework and quantities.  #LI-JF1Keywords: Structures, bridge resident engineer, construction management, CM, pile foundations QualificationsRequired QualificationsBS in Civil EngineerConstruction Management or related degree5 years’ experience construction inspection with experience as a Structure Representative on California Highway projects. California PE required. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.  Preferred QualificationsProlog, Primavera, etc. desired.This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with HDR's vehicle policy.
