Seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Construction Project Executive to oversee and manage large-scale construction projects while fostering client relationships, ensuring project profitability, and driving successful project delivery. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth construction knowledge, and the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Our client is a well-established GC specializing in high-end commercial projects in the Portland area. The company is employee owned, has achieved steady growth with continuous pipeline of projects. They made over 3B in revenue last year and have plans to exceed that in 2024.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for assigned commercial construction projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
- Mentor and guide project managers, superintendents, and other team members.
Project Management Oversight
- Develop, monitor, and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively throughout the project lifecycle.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Attend client meetings, provide progress updates, and address concerns effectively.
- Represent the company in contract negotiations and pre-construction planning.
Financial Management
- Drive profitability by managing budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting.
- Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with pre-construction teams on estimating and bid preparation.
- Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor agreements.
- Promote adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices.
Profile
- Experience: 10+ years in commercial construction with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project delivery.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
