Overview JOB SPECIFICS * We are seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join a growing, robust team of OB/GYN, FMOB, Midwife and APRN providers * OSF Medical Group OB/GYN Providers perform approximately 800 deliveries a year, serving Galesburg, IL and the surrounding Western Illinois area * Clinic is conveniently located on the campus of OSF Saint Mary Medical Center in Galesburg; this multispecialty clinic brings together a collegial group of specialty Physicians with embedded social workers and behavioral health professionals. * Opportunity for weekly outreach to smaller rural communities to grow your practice in our integrated health system. * Great opportunity for either a seasoned Board-Certified Physician, or a newly trained Board Eligible Physician * Weekly schedule is 3-4 days of clinic and 1 surgery day, plus outreach * Call is a Q6 model: 1 day every week/every other week, plus every 6 th * Joining a team of 3 OB/GYN Physicians, 3 FMOB Physicians, 1 CNM and 1 APRN * 2 Ultra sonographers in clinic * Two FertilityCare practitioners who educate in the Creighton model or FEMM model of Natural Family Planning and fertility awareness. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. * Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges. * Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. * Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. * Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
