NDT Specialist

Acuren-logo---170px-wide (https://rockwood.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&action=download&id=211&hashed=-1597844303) Acuren is seeking NDT Specialist to support of Torrance, CA operations. * Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment, Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection * Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations * Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results * Organize and report test results * Perform specialized inspections * May instruct and supervise others * Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management * High School Diploma or equivalent * Some college preferred * NDT Certifications * Technical background in NDT methods and procedures with five years experience * Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections * Knowledge of NDT equipment * Competitive salary * Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance * 401K Plan * Paid Holidays * Paid Time Off * Pay Transparency:As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $40.00-$50.00 an hour depending on experience and applicable certifications.
