Shift / Schedule: Full-time position with 10-hour day shifts **This is an onsite Stanford Health Care job.** **A Brief Overview** The Quality Management Coordinator facilitates the planning, development, implementation and assessment of clinical quality assurance and quality improvement in the Department of Patient Care Services (PCS). **Locations** Stanford Health Care (Palo Alto, CA; onsite) **What you will do** + Acts as liaison to other departments for the purpose of identifying and resolving quality improvement activities. Facilitates inter and intradepartmental communication about quality improvement. + Acts as PCS resource on regulatory requirements and on quality improvement processes. + Assists PCS management in identifying opportunities and interventions for improvement based on the needs of internal and external customers. + Assumes responsibility for professional self development. Quality of work reflects high professional and ethical standards. + Communicates effectively to maintain positive working relationships and achieve desired outcomes. + Demonstrates the ability to consider age-appropriate issues when dealing with quality improvement. + Develops, implements, and/or evaluates quality assurance and quality improvement projects/processes in order to continually monitor and improve patient care. + Participates in or leads work groups in special projects as assigned. + Works collaboratively to guide and influence the course of change. **Education Qualifications** + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university required. **Experience Qualifications** + Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience **Licenses and Certifications** + Nursing / RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure **These principles apply to ALL employees:** **SHC Commitment to Providing an Exceptional Patient & Family Experience** _Stanford Health Care sets a high standard for delivering value and an exceptional experience for our patients and families. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
