Salary - $190,000.00 and up
Patient Population: 75% Latino, 15% African-American, 10% other;

Position Summary:
The Family Practice Physician is a member of the interdisciplinary health care team which functions to meet the objectives of the programs in the Clinic. The Family Practice Physician will be responsible for providing complete clinical care for all patients under the direction of the Medical Director and by written protocols. Family Practice Physician works in conjunction with the Medical Director in implementing and maintaining quality care programs.

Flexible, may require some evening and weekends
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Obtain medical, social and developmental histories.
Perform physical exams and immunizations on all patients.
Initiate laboratory exams and studies as indicated.
Provide health education and counseling.
Management of all acute and chronic illnesses to and above community standards at all times.
Consult with and Refer to appropriate specialist in regards to high risk or complex patients.
Management of services in accordance with established policies/procedures and contracted services under CHDP, Managed Medical Care and other medical programs and guidelines.
Exercise judgment in establishing priorities of medical care in triage situations.
Provide case management with other health care team members.
Provide consultations to other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistant
Maintain a positive working relationship with staff.
Other duties as designated by the Medical Director or Executive Director.
Minimum Requirements
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Customer Service (Bedside Manners)
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Ability to work as a team player and work independently
Required Education/Experience and/or Licensure/Certifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited university (if foreign medical graduate, must pass all required USMLE exams and/or completed an accredited residency program in the US)
Active California Medical License (M.D. or D.O.)
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Practice
Active DEA License
Must have a Natl Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain an NPI, prior to employment start date.
Current BLS Certification
Patient Population: 75% Latino, 15% African-American, 10% other; Spanish is preferred, or some Medical Spanish ability.
