The Leidos Spatial Solutions team has an opening for an experienced Configuration Manger to join the Land Task Order with the FS2 Program. The successful applicant will employ or recommend automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures. Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems. Perform change control and configuration audits.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures
- Assist in the use of configuration management tools to store, track, and manage configuration items
- Understand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures
- Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures
- Understand basic concepts, assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration
- Assist in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures; such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process
- Utilize configuration management toolsto store, track, and manage configuration items
- Maintain the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration
- Develop hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed on hardware and software development projects
- Apply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process
- Serve as an advisor to (or non-voting member of) Change Management Board (CMB)
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 - 15 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years' experience with a Master's degree, or 10 - 13 years' experience with an Associates' degree, or 10 years' experience with a High School/General Education Development diploma.
- Top Secret clearance
- Experience working with Continuous Integrations tools such as GitLab
- Experience designing and managing a CMDB
- Experience working in an AGILE environment
- Experience in managing development and delivery of multiple overlapping Releases
- Experience managing hardware and software configuration baselines
- Familiarity with Risk and Issue Management
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives
- Track record of working effectively within a team, and support to peers toward improved processes and results
- US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contracts we support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem.
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP along with an appropriate computing environment (CE) certification)
