DutiesDirect the planning, programming and execution of Information Technology support and requirements for all G1 Human Resource systems.Identify contract requirements to manage and resource G1 Information Technology systems and materials to support the mission and vision.Give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.Brief the resources process to include the performance of command level planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) cycles for automation.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.In accordance with AR 690-11, this position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.The incumbent must be exempted from recall to active duty and will receive training to ensure mission accomplishment of sustaining base operations during mobilization. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.GS-14: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: determining contractor performed work meets standards of adequacy necessary for authorization of payment; recommending selections for subordinate positions; developing detailed plans, tasks, milestone dates and schedules to ensure proper sequencing of events and tracking of processes and costs through the life cycle of the programs/projects; managing short and long range planning activities that include multi-year plans that are the products of organizational projects/programs; identifying information system issues or concerns and brief leadership on solutions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-13 or equivalent).
