Head of Finance

About the roleWe are seeking a talented Head of Finance to build out the finance function for Character.AI. As our Head of Finance you’ll be responsible for our day to day financial planning, managing budgeting/spend, forecasting, reporting, etc. This person will also play a critical role in driving Character.AI’s fundraising and compute strategy.What you’ll bring10+ years of relevant FP&A experience, with at least 5 years directly managing people and teams, and ideally at a consumer software companyYou are very adept at operating at all levels with the ability to be hands-on while also keeping an eye on the strategic big pictureBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field;  MBA a plusThis role is in-person at our office in Menlo ParkAbout Character.AIFounded in 2021, Character is a leading AI company offering personalized experiences through customizable AI 'Characters.'
